This Safeguarding Policy applies to all teachers, assistants, students, parents, volunteers associated with Love-Eyes Spiritual Development.

Love-Eyes Spiritual Development believes that no child should ever experience any kind of abuse and we will promote the welfare of all children to keep them safe.

The purpose of this policy is to:

Protect children who receive or attend workshops/trainings/courses/camps with Love-Eyes Spiritual Development.

Love-Eyes Spiritual Development recognises the welfare of the child is paramount and is committed to comply with National policy, current legislation and guidance. We will review our safeguarding procedures every two years.

We believe that all children attending our service have the right to be protected, treated with respect, listened to and have their own view taken in to consideration in all decisions affecting them.

We believe all children and young people have an equal right to attend a service that respects them as individuals and encourages them to reach their potential, regardless of their background.

We believe in maintaining an anti-bullying environment and ensuring that we have a policy and procedure to help us deal effectively with bullying that does arise.

We are committed to using our safe guarding procedures to report concerns and relevant information with agencies that need to know, and involving children, young people, parents, families and carers appropriately.

Our guiding principles apply to everyone in our organisation; workers / volunteers must conduct themselves in a way that reflects the principles of our organisation. We are committed to ensuring all workers / volunteers undertake vetting through the Garda National Vetting Bureau prior to commencement of work with Love-Eyes Spiritual Development.
